Tess - Registered Veterinary Technician

Tess has lived in Des Moines her whole life, and grew up surrounded by her family pets. She attended Des Moines Area Community College, and graduated in 2013 with her Associate’s degree in veterinary technology. After studying hard for board exams that summer, she was thrilled to pass her tests and become a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Iowa.

In her time away from work, Tess enjoys spending time with friends and family, drawing, watching movies, reading comic books, and listening to music. She’s also recently taken up sewing—many of her unique ideas have turned out quite nicely! Tess lives with two pets of her own: Paisley, a playful calico cat who demands to be the center of attention, and a garter snake named Nagini. Tess also owns an elderly cat named Lucy and a beagle who goes by Butters, both of whom live back home with her parents.
