Kirsten grew up in Grimes, IA, before going to Ellsworth Community College, where she graduated with a degree in both Equine Science and Equine Management. She credits her Arabian, Rio, with sparking her interest and love for animal rehabilitation and animal medicine. As a veterinary assistant here at Ingersoll Animal Hospital and Pawsitive Strides, Kirsten strongly believes that education is key, and wants to help provide that to owners so that they can help their animals live their very best lives. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technician Program and hopes to constantly learn and improve her skills!
