Karen is originally from Puerto Rico, has previous experience with small animals, and did an internship with marine turtles. Her interest in medicine, science, and love for animals is the reason for becoming part of our veterinary staff, and is currently in the process of getting her RVT. She also has a bachelor's degree in biology. Karen is grateful to be doing what she feels she's meant to do: making a difference in the lives of pets and their families.
